Join us for this year’s Silverdale & Arnside Arts Festival 27-28 June 2026

Silverdale & Arnside Arts Festival is a celebration of local creative talent and a showcase of varied, multi-disciplined work from over 80 local artists and makers from commercial artists to new start ups, local groups and organisations.

Meet the artists and makers, learn their creative processes and have the opportunity to purchase unique, handcrafted pieces.

See paintings, prints, ceramics, textiles, photography, collage, mixed media, digital art, leatherwork, woodwork, jewellery and more.

Opening Times

Venues will be open 10am – 5pm Saturday & Sunday 27-28 June 2026 with the following variations:

Venue 5 – Education Institute, Arnside – Closes at 4pm on Sunday

Venue 7 – Arnside WI Hall – Closes at 4pm on Sunday

Venue 11 – 25 Townsfield, Silverdale (Crafty Little Bird) – Open Saturday only

Venue 12 – Methodist Hall, Silverdale – Opens at 12 noon on Sunday

Venue 15 – St John’s Parish Room, Silverdale – Opens at 11am on Sunday

venue 16 – St John’s Church, Silverdale – 10.00 – 3.45pm on Saturday 12.00 – 5.00pm on Sunday

Venue 20 – Bleasdale School, Silverdale – Open Saturday only 10am – 3.30pm

Events

‘Thank you for the Music’ Concert at St John’s Church, Silverdale

Saturday 27 June at 4pm

Free entry – Donation bucket for local charity

Everyone is invited to a celebration of fabulous talent with local singers and musicians

Throughout the weekend there will be a floral celebration of the 140th Anniversary of St John’s Church and an audiovisual presentation, based around The Font and the theme of water and set to a suite from Handel’s Water Music

The church is open 10.00 – 3.45pm on Saturday 12.00 – 5.00pm on Sunday


‘Power of the Outdoors’

The Holt, RSPB Leighton Moss

Saturday & Sunday

A creative dance and wellbeing project connecting young people through dance and film to natural environments to raise awareness of climate change and wellbeing through creative expression. This film celebrates 10 young people’s connection with the natural landscapes of Silverdale as they move, play and respond to how being outdoors can boost our mental health and wellbeing. Choreographed by two Ludus Emergent Dancers Kato Thomas and Rebecca Callow.

Friends of Mawson’s Garden invite you to explore this secret garden built out of the natural limestone pavement overlooking Morecambe Bay. The garden was created by internationally renowned Landscape Gardener Thomas Mawson in the 1920s. Lost for around 30 years the garden has undergone painstaking restoration.

Please note that there is a lot of walking on uneven paths and steps. No dogs.

Venue 18 – Silverdale Village Institute – Saturday only. Run by Thrifty Ladies. St John’s Church Room, Silverdale – Saturday & Sunday 10am – 5pm

Parking is available at the following locations but please note that space will be limited:
