Kath Lockhart

A retired teacher of Art, Kath now spends her time making Art in a variety of techniques and media. This can be printing, painting and in particular drawing, depending on the subject matter and context. The theme for most pieces tends to be landscape and, lately, she has been exploring a broader range of titles which include still life and portraiture. Inspiration comes from a range of sources including weather conditions, seasonal colours, events and atmosphere, as well as the people she encounters. What interests her as much as the images she creates is the process used to create it.
