Inspired by the landscape and orchards around Halecat, I try and capture the impermanence of blossom and the ever shifting sands of the Bay. I work with a palette of local earth colours, including slate dust, Morecambe Bay sand, and the clay from near my studio at Halecat, to glaze and decorate my hand thrown pottery.
